Gravure printing press is one of the equipment with high utilization rate in printing plant. In order to ensure the normal operation of the printing press, daily maintenance is essential and necessary. Let's briefly talk about the daily maintenance of the machine from several aspects. 1、 Static maintenance Static maintenance of printing press refers to the maintenance of the machine when the machine is at rest. 1. Formulate machine maintenance rules and regulations. The maintenance of the offset press should be carried out according to the operating instructions of the machine. Such as regular oil change, filter cleaning, regular inspection of machine accuracy, etc. 2. Strengthen the maintenance of important parts. Gears, cams, sprockets, rollers and bearings are important parts of the printing press. Their maintenance should be different from other components because their accuracy changes will affect them. Springs are used in force balancing mechanisms in many parts of the machine. Their working quality directly determines the matching accuracy of moving parts. The spring must have sensitive elasticity. Aeroelasticity and unrecoverable plastic deformation are very important to the work of the spring. Disadvantageous. Dynamic maintenance of the machine is very important. The following analyzes the main contents that should be maintained under machine dynamics from several aspects. 1. Machine readiness detection. The readiness of the machine can be checked by jogging or cranking. For example, tools and other items are stuck in the machine; Whether the printing plate is installed correctly. If it is inappropriate, it may damage the printing plate or make it difficult to find the rules; Whether the blanket is installed correctly. If it is not appropriate, it may cause printing failure and damage the machine in serious cases. 2. Lubrication status of the machine. First, observe whether the oil circuit of the machine is unblocked through the oil pointer. If there is no oil in the oil mark or the position of the oil mark is not clear, stop and carefully check the oil circuit for oil leakage. Although the oil leakage of the machine is easy to observe, it is difficult to find the cause. For sliding bearings and other machines, low speed is not conducive to their lubrication, especially inching or low-speed operation has a greater impact on their lubrication. Therefore, before carrying out such operations, the idlers should be lubricated first, which is also the primary task before going to work every day. The oil pump of some machines is driven by the main engine, so when it reverses, the oil circuit will not fill, but will suck the oil in the oil circuit back to the oil tank. This is very dangerous, so the opposite should be avoided. The lubrication of some important parts can also be detected by the temperature of nearby metal. If the temperature is too high, there is a problem with lubrication. 3. Impact during machine operation. The smaller the impact on the machine during operation, the better the printing effect and prolong the service life of the machine. Reducing the printing pressure (pressure in a broad sense) is an important condition to ensure the smooth operation of the machine. On the premise of ensuring the printing quality, the smaller the printing pressure, the better. Reducing the speed of the machine is another important condition for reducing the moment of inertia of the machine. The lower the speed of the machine, the smaller the moment of inertia, so the machine should not run at high speed all the time.

Development trend of gravure printing

1. Common problems in gravure printing

The faults in gravure printing are mainly caused by printing plate, ink, substrate, doctor blade, etc. (1) Uneven shade of ink The phenomenon of periodic ink color change on printed matter. The troubleshooting methods are: correct the roundness of the plate cylinder, adjust the angle and pressure of the doctor blade, or replace the doctor blade with a new one. (2) Blotting, paste and fuzzing The image of printed matter is level and blurred, and the edges of text and text appear burr. The elimination methods include: removing the static electricity on the surface of the substrate, adding polar solvent to the ink, appropriately increasing the printing pressure, adjusting the position of the doctor blade, etc. (3) Blocking plate The phenomenon that the ink dries up in the net hole of the printing plate, or the net hole of the printing plate is filled with paper wool and paper powder is called blocking. The elimination methods are: increasing the solvent content in the ink, reducing the drying speed of the ink, and printing with paper with high surface strength. (4) Ink overflow The appearance of spots on the field part of printed matter. The elimination methods are: add hard ink blending oil to improve the viscosity of ink. Adjust the angle of the doctor blade, improve the printing speed, and replace the deep screen printing plate with the shallow screen printing plate. (5) Scratch There are traces of doctor blades on the printed matter. The elimination methods are: printing with clean ink without foreign matters. Adjust the viscosity, dryness and adhesion of ink. Use a high-quality doctor blade and adjust the angle between the doctor blade and the printing plate. (6) Pigment precipitation The phenomenon of lightening the color on printed matter. The elimination methods are: printing with ink with good dispersion and stable performance. Add anti condensation and anti precipitation additives to the ink. Fully roll and often stir the ink in the ink tank. (7) Sticky dirt Ink stain on printed matter. The elimination methods are: select the ink printing with fast volatilization speed, increase the drying temperature or appropriately reduce the printing speed. (8) Ink falling off The ink printed on the plastic film has poor adhesion and falls off by hand or mechanical force. The elimination methods are: prevent the plastic film from being damp, select the ink printing with good affinity with the plastic film, and re treat the plastic film to improve the surface tension.
